The ornamental crest of two cornucopia appear full with bouquets of flowers and ribbon tied in a bow which trails over them to join the upper part of the frame. An original water gilt finish remains in wonderful antique condition. The mirror frame, slightly unusual for being in east-west orientation, is surrounded by a carved bead border around the glass, mounted on a painted matte gray support that extends past the artichoke feet below.
