Fanciful and fun, this 19th century French Louis XVI style oval gold gilt mirror boasts intricate, carved details from top to bottom. A carved bouquet of flowers and vines crowns the frame with exceptional ribbon details. The original mercury glass sparkles from crystals and dark foxing, surrounded by lustrous giltwood molding which is embellished with beaded pearl, twisted ribbon, and acanthus leaf designs.
