One can observe a Scandinavian influence in the style: a low swoop on the handrail across the back to frame the spindles arranged to create a visual tension between them and the transparency of seeing through them. Angular seats are currently upholstered in an ivory-tone faux cowhide for easy maintenance, on legs of similar geometry and proportion to the backs.
