Offered is a 2 Quart sauce/fondue pot with its matching lid that doubles as a trivet from the Dansk Købenstyle collection, originally designed by Jens Quistgaard in 1956. This piece was produced between 1965-1976, when they moved their production from Denmark to France, and the color is referred to as Royal Blue. Of note, 1965 was also the first year they introduced the teak handles to the Kobenstyle collection. The sides are angled inward to keep sauces from boiling over, and have a ledge that functions as a rest for fondue sticks while they cook their magic. Made from carbon enameled stainless steel, beautifully bright signature enamel colors, and teak wood handles. It is rare to find one in such spiffy condition, it appears to have rarely if ever been used. We hope the pictures do it justice
Capacity: 2 qt.
Length: 12"
Diameter: 7"
Height: 4.5"
From the Dansk Website:
"... this piece has a big reputation in the design world. Made in easy-to-clean enameled carbon steel, it moves effortlessly between oven, stove, and table, where the lid can be used as a trivet.
"Designed by Jens Quistgaard in 1956, Købenstyle is iconic, enduring and practical. Its unique design has become a trademark of the Dansk brand."

No nicks, chips, scratches, cracks or utensil marks. It appears to have never been used. The teak handle had some minor scuffs near the joint but we cleaned and buffed it with food safe oil.
