A scalloped shell cartouche adorns the center of the lintel, slightly plunging into the firebox molding beneath. The cartouche is flanked by a pair of distinct florets, each one situated above a large leaf carving, with a thin protruding molding in between. Beneath each foliate motif is a robust leg, carved in the form of a pilaster on the façade only. The legs align with protrusions to the lintel molding, which is understated and elegant. Inclusions within the stone add white, gold, and tan hues to the overall cream palette. The small stature of this unusual stone fireplace makes it an attractive option for a more intimate setting and can be installed indoors or outside. See less
