As one of the oldest Murano glass houses in Venice Salviati has proved to be one of the most prestigious makes of glass art. Salviati glass works and mosaics have an important place in buildings as the Palace of Westminster in London and the Opera House in Paris. Executed in a very deep and radiant teal blue and engraved in ‘battuto’ manner. Hand signed underneath. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
