Fantastic and quintessential mid-century studio pottery bowl or dish by Dutch artist Hans Wagner. Very elegant and stylish, this bowl or plate is a real eye-catcher when placed on a table or sideboard - or hung on the wall. Great fresh aesthetic with clean lines and a very crisp white. In the middle you will find a stylized gathering or people holding hands in blue and red. Great colors and all drawn freely and expressive. On the rim of the bowl there is the same combination of blue and red to be found. It still looks very fresh and modern and therefore this pottery piece is a great addition to any stylish interior. Hans Wagner was a well known Dutch pottery artist. His works were often very graphical and elegant, made of red firing clay and glazed and decorated with stylized elements. Great vintage condition with a chip on the back which is hardly noticeable. See less
