Glazed ceramic sculpture, entirely decorated by hand and finally glazed with a third firing, depicting a Fox Terrier dog, signed under the base by the Goldscheider factory, numbered, and with the place of production "Made in Austria." It also bears the engraved signature of the artist "Meisinger." Beautiful antique patina, especially under the base, and generous in size, see the photo next to the wine bottle to get an idea.

Useful information for evaluating the item:
Goldscheider is a very important Austrian manufacturer, founded in the early decades of the 19th century and boasting numerous significant auction results. Consider that the four highest auction results achieved by its ceramics range from €11,000 to €23,000 plus auction fees of 25-30%, especially for large orientalist terracotta pieces. Ida Meisinger is a 19th-century sculptor born in 1897. A quick search on the web revealed two of her sculptures, one only 16 cm tall, sold at auction for €800, excluding fees, and another, a pair of small dogs, 22 cm tall, sold for €500, again excluding auction fees. Finally, we found other sculptures depicting dogs similar to ours, obviously also by Ida Meisinger, all sold or offered on online platforms for the sale of art and antiques at very high prices, ranging from a minimum of €400 to around €700, all to give an idea of the value of objects similar to ours.
