This stackable stool, model 202, created by Isamu Kenmochi, a key figure in post-war Japanese design, perfectly reflects his minimalist and functional aesthetic. Kenmochi was one of the founders of Japan Industrial Designers and collaborated with Isamu Noguchi from the 1950s.
The stool has a dark-stained solid beech structure, combined with a green Skai seat. Both light, stackable and functional, it embodies the perfect alliance between modernism and craftsmanship.
Edition: Akita Mokko (stamped).
