This is a set of highly sculptural and avant garde chairs by designer Gerd Lange for Thonet. The 'Flex 2000' series was a truly unique and ground braking series of furniture by designer Gerd Lange and Thonet. For the first time wood and plastic were combined to create chairs and tables. Lange designed this series in 1973. These come in original condition with signs of age and use on the wood and plastic. Please note we also have the table and the whole set available in separate listings. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
