Neoclassical in style, they are of very fine quality. Fluted bases decorated with passementerie, openwork acanthus frieze entablature and pinecone pinnacles. The gilded bronze fronts are fixed to fire arms carrying logs. Beautiful bright gilding alternating matt and glossy. Early 19th century. See less
