The Giustiniani factory was founded in 1775 in Naples by Nicola Giustiniani known as Bel Pensiero, founder of a famous family of Neapolitan ceramists. Like many Neapolitan factories, the Giustiniani factory found its greatest source of inspiration in the Greco-Roman decorative samples found in nearby Pompeii. This piece has an attribution mark,
