Late 20th century Chinoiserie jewelry / make up / shaving box. Styled to resemble a pair of stacked books with gilt page edges and red covers, the top most decorated with a golden Chinese dragon and phoenix motif. Top opens to an inner compartment and fold out, beveled glass mirror. A single drawer opens from the spine of the book beneath. Both compartments are lined in faux Chinese newspaper.
