The artist has taken a 1940s floor lamp base and center rod with a 1/2 inch copper pipe over it to hold this hand made copper horse. The copper pipe as well as the copper used for the horse came from a 90 year old home in Sacramento California that was being remodeled. The pipe was part of the old plumbing and the copper horse was from a 20 inch wide by 10 foot long sheet from the roof. The piece can easily be taken apart for shipping and storage. The horse by itself measures 24 inches long by 16 inches high and the copper thickness is 1/32 of a inch. See less
