An incredible ver rare vintage Chinoiserie storage trunk style coffee table by Frederick Cooper.
The table features a removable storage trunk style with silver leaf and hand painted turquoise water lillies with birds and florals. It's a beautiful peaceful soft design. The gloss black trim gives it a dramatic punch. The trunk opens for nice storage options with a good amount of space. The front has original brass Asian hardware.
The trunk sits on a black gloss base with ming style legs.
This is a wonderful rare vintage piece with loads of Chinoiserie style.

- The table has some flaws as follows. As shown in the photo's above, the top has some dings, nicks and … moreThe table has some flaws as follows. As shown in the photo's above, the top has some dings, nicks and a few worn spots. The black lip all around has some worn area as well shown in the photo's above. The base had a few hairline cracks on the legs which were glued and repaired. The silver leaf has a few flaws in the finish. The table is over 40 years old so it does show some age, however in my opinion the flaws add wonderful character to this beautiful piece. It is still extremely functional and absolutely beautiful. less
