The painting is on a wood panel allowing greater detail in vibrant colors. The unsigned painting has a gold ornate frame with a 3 1/2 inch wide moulding. Painted in the 1980s as part of a collection of scenes depicting streets of Paris from the end of the 19th century. Old buildings, alleyways and storefronts evoke the essence of the time.
