These are two original lithographs are signed and dated by Ida Applebroog. Born on Nov 11, 1929 - Died Oct 22, 2023 Ida Applebroog was an American mutlimedia artists who was best known for her paintings and sculptures that explore themes including gender politics, violence and power. She was a self-proclaimed 'generic artist' and she developed an instantly recognizable style of simplified human forms with bold outlines. I love how this pair of prints absolutely captures that iconic look. Both lithographs have been:
