GZS Georg Schmider Zell Germany majolica birds on grape vine 6.5” plate.
Circa 1910 to 1920’s. produced in Germany at the United Zell Ceramic Factories in Badenia featuring 2 multicolored birds perched amongst grape leaves & clusters of fruit set on a turquoise field. The rim is bordered w/a decorative bas-relief scroll pattern
The back of the plate shows the number 230, Zell Cup Logo w/GZS Zell Germany. The plate has a few cracks throughout but the plate is still solid.
