Refurbished, by removing the original lead-based powder coating, stripped to its steel and metal base, then brushed and polished to an almost mirror like lustre and finished with a clear top coat to help prevent oxidation. The desk contains a large file drawer as well as 3 deep utility drawers. The interior drawers are finished in an industrial grade enamel. The top is finished with Hila-Plas, a proprietary hard laminate, in light green, in flawless condition. The desk finish does contain brush marks that are below the surface finish, mostly noticeable upon close examination, typical for finishes that are brushed prior to polishing. Please note that there is no key available for the top drawer which does contain a lock. See less
