Offered is a large stitched cotton patchwork textile consisting of a vast assortment of African wax batik fabrics. Often referred to as a Crazy Quilt, it's bright and multi-colored.
It can be used as a queen-sized bed coverlet, or cut in half and made into curtain panels, or have an additional fabric (such as denim, or thick cotton) sewn onto the piece and made into a duvet cover. There are two corner strings attached which give us the impression this was a work in progress, and the rear side has proper zig-zag stitching but the unfinished threads were not clipped. it is displayed in images on a king-sized bed.
Measures 75" wide, 90" long, strings are 22" and 28"
