This model rests on a fixed base and is distinguished by a generously padded seat covered in burgundy fabric. The curved backrest follows the lines of the body, providing ergonomic comfort without compromising the purity of the design.

Created in collaboration with the publisher Tendo Mokko, this armchair embodies Isamu Kenmochi's approach: reconciling functional requirements, comfort of use and formal elegance. The Kabuto model is today considered one of the classics of Japanese design from the 1960s.
