Fabulous, beautiful sculpture in white bronzed metal, not pewter or antimony, but white metal, a type of pewter that is much more malleable. Depicting a cherub or cherubim with a cup in his hand. Full Art Nouveau style, work dating back to the late 1800s.
Sculpture created by the famous French artist Ernest Justin Ferrand (1846 - 1932) and entitled "La Source," with a bronze plaque on the marble base, with inscription, signature, and title.

Useful information for evaluating the item:
From online research, we find that the six highest results achieved by Ferrand's works range from more than €3,000 to over €6,000, to which auction fees of 25-30% must be added. We also found that our sculpture has been auctioned on several occasions with starting prices ranging from a minimum of €200 to €500. Unfortunately, we do not know the final result because we are not registered on the site and the price achieved was not visible.
