This unusual bowl was made in the 1960s by the Krösselbach ceramics workshop under the direction of Cläre and Carla … Read more This unusual bowl was made in the 1960s by the Krösselbach ceramics workshop under the direction of Cläre and Carla Schleiser at the time, and impresses with the combination of very rough, black-brown burning manganese fireclay mass in conjunction with a high-gloss turquoise blue crackle glaze. Karl Heinz Löffler experimented with the black-brown burning manganese mass in the late 1950s and early 1960s; this design is attributed to him. The rare and decorative bowl can be used as a fruit bowl or wall plate.

Very good condition, no chips or other damage. Signed with the "K" for Krösselbach.
