a delightful pair of glazed and vitrified ceramic plates, decorated entirely in bas-relief depicting birds on branches with foliage and fruit. Marked on the back with one of the numerous marks of the sci factory in laveno depicting a stylized eagle and the inscription "verbanum stone," as well as the engraved name of the manufacturer. The relief decoration is particularly beautiful, which is very rare for similar plates from this manufacturer.

Among the most important artists who collaborated with the manufacturer were the famous guido andlovitz, who was its artistic director from 1923 for almost 40 years, eleonor fini, antonia campi, angelo biancini, and many others.
