It has a big spiral bead that is pulled vertically to form decorative festoons. This technique, known as Fenicio, was first seen on Phoenician glass. The vase has a beautiful rose color that is quite rare in Murano. Regarding attribution, I found an identical vase in my photos taken at Seguso Vetri d'Arte during Albarelli's era. It is unique in its finish, color, and size. See less
