The upper part, the abacus, is made up of a simple but robust quadrangular shape. The body of the capital develops beneath the abacus, adorned with elegantly stylized lateral volutes and an underlying frieze decorated with floral motifs, perhaps acanthus leaves and rosettes. The sculpture shows signs of wear and patina due to age, giving an aura of antiquity to the object. Some parts may have small chips or surface erosion. The capital rests on a parallelepiped-shaped solid wood base, with a warm shade that contrasts pleasantly with the light color of the stone. The dimensions of the capital, although not monumental, suggest that it could have belonged to a medium-sized column or an internal architectural decorative element. The whole, with the wooden base, transforms it into a display object, capable of evoking the beauty and majesty of classical architecture in a contemporary context.
