Designed at the end of the 19th century under the aegis of the emblematic architect Eugène-Emmanuel Viollet-le-Duc, this piece of furniture embodies the Gothic elegance and spirituality of this era.

Survivor of the tragic fire of 2019, this element is one of the rare original objects removed from the cathedral to allow restoration work. Millions of faithful and visitors have been able to admire this iconic piece of furniture, and it appears in numerous photos and videos of the interior of Notre-Dame, making this piece particularly precious.

We took care to clean and wax it completely while retaining the scars of the fire, poignant witnesses to the violence of the disaster. Every detail of this divider tells a part of the unique story of one of the world's most iconic landmarks.
