This striking floor lamp / table lamp, crafted in Sweden during the 1960s, is a beautiful example of Scandinavian design with a raw, honest material expression. Standing 80 cm tall, it features a sculptural cylindrical form constructed from vertical slats of solid pine, giving it a warm, organic presence. While the designer and manufacturer remain unknown, the lamp’s aesthetic clearly echoes the rustic elegance of Axel Einar Hjorth’s pine furniture and the soft, atmospheric qualities of Hans-Agne Jakobsson’s iconic Ellysett veneer lamps. It’s a rare piece that bridges functional lighting with artful craftsmanship.
