In the 1960s/70s, the Swedish architect and designer Gilbert Marklund (1933 - 2012) designed a series of sculptural furniture. Marklund used solid Swedish pine wood for this. This series also included the very rare "Jonte" stool, which was manufactured in 1965 by the Swedish company Furusnickarn AB. The stool has been gently restored. Irregularities and damage were repaired and the surface was polished with wax. Excellent condition, with impressive patina. The slightly curved seat makes the stool pleasantly comfortable. Seat height 37cm. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising

misattribution
