In great condition for its age, this is a piece of silver that was used daily in a hotel setting so you can expect small bumps and surface scratches, lots of signs of use, but no major dents or damage. The top rim and base of the cake have the signature Waldorf-Astoria pattern, the stand is marked underneath with the hotel name and date of 1949. The stand measures 9 inches across by 3.5 inches tall. It would best hold an 8.5 inch or smaller cake. See less
