Handmade ceramic vessel from the Positive/Negative Collection by Bay Area artist Eric Vander Molen. Made of black clay with a charcoal gray glazed interior so the vessel can hold flowers or simply be used as an object. Eric Vander Molen brings his own contemporary sensibility to familiar industrial forms that are transformed through sculpting and glazing. When not working as a collaborator with a California-based tile company, you can find Vander Molen working in his own studio emerged in the artistry of clay.
Vessel No. 1 approximately 4.5" diameter x 5.5" high. Each vessel is made by hand and slightly varies. Approximately 4-6 week production period.
