Joanna Zjawinska "Love Life & Money: How Did I Get Here? Part 2" (May 1989)
Pencil Signed Serigraph, Limited Edition #108/275
Certificate of Authenticity Included
This is pencil signed serigraph of Joanna Zjawinska's classic painting "Love Life & Money: How Did I Get Here? Part 2". Born in Poland in 1950, Zjawinska studied art at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts before emigrating to San Francisco where she became a painter of some renown. Her contemporary work - which incorporates fantastical dreamscapes and passionate figures - has been displayed in many prestigious private and public collections around the world, including: The National Museum in Torun, Poland; The Polish Institute of New York; Guerlain Perfumes, Paris; Elizabeth Arden, San Francisco; Nordstrom Inc, Seattle; Warner/Vanderbilt, New York; and the MGM Grand Hotel, Las Vegas.
Including it's white border, this serigraph measures 32 1/2" height x 26" width. It comes already framed in a magnificent gold-toned / faux gilt edged frame which measures 40" height x 33" width. It has a plexiglass front making it safer to ship.
CONDITION: This serigraph is in good condition. Its colors are as "alive" and as "vibrant" as ever. Examine all the pictures closely. The frame is also in good condition, the plexiglass on the frame does however have a small scratch in it. About 2" in length, mid right (see pic). Zoom in & out of all the pictures to get a good sense of its exact condition: a picture tells a thousand words. The photos serve as a document as to its condition. You will receive the exact serigraph pictured here.
I'm not a professional photographer but have done my best with the photos here. I photographed this outside in natural light to try and capture the serigraph's true colors. There is some reflection from the plexiglass. Sorry about that. Note that some computers / phones may display colors differently.
All in all this serigraph is a true conversation piece that will prove to be a major addition to any collection. Don't delay if you want to make it yours. :o)
All my items are well packed, tracked and fully insured. It will arrive to you in the exact condition as pictured. Local pick-up from L.A. 90291 also available. I can also deliver it if you live within about 15-20 miles of that zip code.
