Charming c.1880 English majolica teacup and saucer featuring a lilac interior and bamboo-style handle. The exterior showcases molded fan panels with blossoming branches, butterflies, and birds in a pastel palette of yellow, blue, and green. Pattern is often referred to as "Butterfly & Fan" and has been highly sought after for decades, especially the elusive cup and saucer. A beautiful example of Victorian aesthetic movement ceramics. Diamond registration mark on base.
