Antique Anglo Indian porcupine quill box, c.1900
Made in Ceylon, now Sri Lanka as a local folk art using readily available materials. Rectangular in shape with a slightly raised top. The interior has an elephant and ‘Matara’ which is the town the box was made in. Good antique condition with all quills and dots intact. Recently waxed and polished.
