Antique Asian Woven Harvest Basket A beautiful antique Chinese woven harvesting basket traditionally used in China for carrying fruit and vegetables or rice and grain during harvest season. The basket has been intricately woven from read and has a bentwood handle. Basket making is an ancient craft and the basket on its own is a beautiful work of art but it could be used in the garden for storing flowers, vegetables, or inside to display flowers, or to store toiletries in a bathroom. Dimensions: Height: 55cm Width: 41.5cm Depth: 37cm Circa: Early 1900s Workshop Report: Overall vintage condition, wear to the read in places and the bentwood handle – see photos.
