These dining room chairs are sumptuously lacquered, giving them a glossy sheen. The ash wood has a dramatic grain to it, quite unlike that of mahogany, and is stained a warm reddish brown color. There are six side chairs and two arm chairs, which are slightly larger. The undulating arms flare out and cascade down towards the tapered legs. This set of eight Pietro Costantini chairs is in remarkably good condition with no condition issues to report. The seats are covered in a black foam-like fabric that is in good condition without any stains or tears. There is a manufacturer's label on the underside of these chairs as well as a label from the Ello Furniture Manufacturing Company.

I photographed this set of dining room chairs outside on a sunny day. The color of the ash wood will invariably look different in an interior setting under artificial light. Please take this into consideration when trying to find a match for a piece of furniture that you already have.
