Magnificent engraving made and signed by Benito Mauleón. It represents a writing desk, composed of a blotter, pen and ink. This still life, with broad and casual lines, but with precision in the form of what is represented, is highly decorative. Expressive work, typical of Mauleón's artistic production. Benito was born in La Rioja, but from a young age he was closely linked to the city of Valladolid. In the mid-seventies he made a painting with strong political criticism, greatly influenced by the aesthetics of Equipo Crónica. For the Plaza de Los Arces in this city he made the monolithic sculpture in 2002. Framed with glass to protect the work.
