Oil on canvas painting by artist Robert Rukavina (1914 - 1977), who lived in the United States and is known for his realist figure and portrait artwork. There is a nostalgic quality to this painting which beautifully captures the melancholic features of the boy's face. The well executed detail of a colorful wardrobe against a muted background of washed-out colors in hues of green and brown, also adds to it's beauty. The custom frame is made of reclaimed wood with a distressed finish and floating frame design. Signed R. Rukavina on the upper left hand corner.
