We love this extraordinary pair of porcelain miniature vases for their fabulous detail in the handpainting and lovely vintage condition. The floral vase is marked Shibata Japan and the round vase with the peacock has the word "Japan" embedded in the porcelain. This pair is very nice for a collector or simply adding to visual texture of a wall nook or shelf. They were found in the popular retirement community of Sun City, AZ, which opened in 1960.
