A vibrant and detailed 1970s vintage oil on canvas painting by Haitian folk artist F. Faramon. This expressive piece captures a lush rural village scene with vivid green hills, fruit-laden trees, and a series of peach-colored cottages with thatched and tin roofs. Figures are shown tending to crops, walking paths, and carrying daily necessities, all under a bright blue sky and surrounded by rich tropical vegetation. Signed “F. Faramon” in the lower right, the work exemplifies classic Haitian folk art with its bold palette, flat perspective, and narrative charm. Displayed in a rustic painted wood frame. A striking and culturally rich piece ideal for collectors of Caribbean or outsider art.
