The candlestick is in very good condition, the frame has been restored, no rust. The glasses have a special design: after being molded and before they were completely hardened, they were cooled with a damp cloth, which caused this crack structure; When they cooled down, these cracks then fused again, visible but solid. One speaks of Verre craquelé. This technique was used by Schneider.
The glasses have minor damage at the top edge; However, these are covered by the equipment so that they are not visible after assembly (note pictures).
