A simplistic piece is crafted in the style of an Egyptian Sobek. A Sobek, noted by a crocodile headpiece was considered a deity known for ferocity and quick movements.
The figure appears pressed or drawn into plaster with an overlay of peach tones and a wonderful texture of creamy white colored wash. The piece is a great size to fit within any small space or amongst a collection. The makers mark on the back has a large “M” and hanging hook as well.
