The articulated shading of the interior of the shelter and the winter landscape view through the window are exquisitely executed.

The painting holds a myriad of colors; earth tone shades of brown, creams, copper, yellow with the cool tones of silver, yellow and silvery greens and white of the landscape. The simple beveled frame appears to have been painted. However, with time, the finish on the frame has crackled adding more interest to this vintage piece.

The artist signature is "Fran Cooper, '74." This one of the fine art collection of my dear late mother. Check out my shop for the rest of her collection.
