Vintage Illuminated Pedestal White and Clear Lucite from a Palm Beach estate
The on-off switch is located in the electric cord which protrudes from the back when the pedestal is placed upon the base.
The clear base is not attached so you can change the light bulb by simply tilting the pedestal off the base.
note - there are 4 holes on either side near the top -- normally these holes are heat-escape holes for when the inner light is turned on, but because there are 4 each on each side in a rectangular pattern, they may represent something that was removed.
