Every … Read more This incense burner is a rare Louis XIV style object, revisited with the refinement of the Napoleon III era. Every detail reflects the craftsmanship of this period. It is made up of two parts: a bronze incense burner and a hexagonal wooden base, decorated with musical cupids. A bronze cup is held by three richly sculpted feet, with a bee with a child's face in the upper part, and a claw foot in the lower part. The whole rests on a meticulously crafted circular base with a flower in the center surrounded by friezes. In addition, a wooden base completes the set. The latter is accompanied by three gilded bronze cherubs. These cupids play music and add a lively and artistic touch to this decorative object which will seduce with its originality.
