It is made from high quality … Read more This unique bar cabinet was designed and crafted in Italy by Aldo Tura (1909-1963). It is made from high quality wood with a burl veneer, finished in a high gloss. The piece is accented with polished brass fittings, and the front cabinet door is fully covered with lacquered goatskin. The cabinet can be locked, with the key that is included. The piece stands on a pedestal base and is meant to be elevated upon another surface, perhaps an attractive sideboard or hall table made in a similar style.

The interior of this bar cabinet is lined with mirrored glass backing and clear glass shelves, and designed to be illuminated from the bottom with lights. Though the design suggests that the light is meant to turn on with the opening of the cabinet doors, this feature is untested. The cords have been cut and require rewiring for the optimal dramatic effect.
