Offered is a set of 8 Birks Sterling Silver modern hollow handle butter spreaders in the Saxon pattern. These have a sterling handle and stainless steel blade.
Each is 6 5/8" long and is stamped 'BIRKS STERLING' on the front of the handle.
Excellent used condition. The knives are table ready. Professionally polished and placed in ziploc flatware sleeves for protection.
I am offering other pieces in this pattern in my Chairish store.
A true Canadian classic, Saxon, introduced in 1914, is one of Birks' most enduring silverware patterns. With its clean lines and balanced elegance, Saxon is the perfect fit for any setting, whether traditional or contemporary. It's often found in heirloom sets across the country.
Saxon was discontinued earlier this century.
