A beautiful porcelain nude lady byHugo Meisel (German, 1887 - 1966) for Schwarzburger Werkstatten. The glazed procelain is elegantly down.
"Schwarzburger Werkstatten Fur Porzellankunst" stamped underneath with a pictorial mark of a fox, with "HM" on on the back of the sculpture.
Provenance Bruno de Vries, Amsterdam.
There is a hairline crack to the top of the back of the base; firing crack at one knee; glaze irregularities around shoulders and neck
