Batik is a technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to fabric originating in Indonesia. The term "batik" comes from the Indonesian word "ambatik," meaning "cloth decorated with little dots". We found them like this. They are perfectly ironed with bold color and shimmery gold painted accents intact. Besides a few areas of discoloration (on the ivory background, pictured) you’d think they were never used. less
