An excellent rare vintage First Edition photogravure of Neoclassical portrait of Monsieur Bertin, French writer, art collector and director of the pro-royalist Journal des débats, by Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres. Comes from a rare First Limited Edition art folio published by Editions du Chene in Paris, France in 1951. Printed on one side. Hand tipped-in on a board of heavy paper. Information regarding the original artwork will be found by lifting the piece. Very detailed. Colors are deep and rich. Excellent condition - never framed.
